Integrated Support for Dignity and Resilience

In the context of economic collapse, displacement, unemployment, and rising food prices, Amel’s food security interventions help reduce hunger, protect health, preserve dignity, and strengthen community resilience.

88.7% Improved economic stability and increased agricultural productivity among 225 farmers receiving cash-based assistance.

Needs

  • Widespread food insecurity due to financial crisis, currency devaluation, inflation, and reduced purchasing power.
  • Sharp increase in food prices, loss of income, unemployment, and reduced access to social protection.
  • High vulnerability among displaced populations, refugees, and impoverished host communities.
  • Increased risk of malnutrition and health deterioration among children, pregnant and lactating women, elderly persons, and people with chronic diseases.
