Tyre Development Center
What We Do ?
The Center was established in 1980 during the cruel Lebanese civil war and the Israeli invasion in the late 1970ies to provide medical and social services as a response to the crises. When Lebanon finally reached a more stable situation, the center was maintained open and still operates in order to provide both basic and specialized health services.
As a result of the Syrian crisis, the center intervened immediately to help Syrian refugees, the projects were expanded to include, in addition to the primary health care, psycho-social support and awareness sessions.
Amel Association International in collaboration with General Director of The Internal security forces is providing Physical therapy in Tyre center for both local citizens and refugees.
