Amel Association International is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the QALAM: Building Bridges to Safe, Inclusive, and Quality Education project in South Lebanon.

The Social Worker will conduct school-based outreach, identify eligible students, coordinate referrals, support Grade 12 students through career counselling and life-skills activities, facilitate community engagement, and contribute to child protection, awareness-raising, monitoring, and reporting.

📍 Location: Tyre District, South Lebanon
🕒 Contract: Part-time — three full days per week, averaging 24 hours, including Fridays and Saturdays
📅 Employment period: Until the end of March 2027
💵 Salary: USD 800

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field
• Two to three years of relevant experience in education or child protection, preferably within an NGO
• Strong knowledge of child-protection principles and safe referral mechanisms
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, documentation, research, and report-writing skills
• Ability to build relationships with community members and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-management tools
• Fluency in Arabic and English
