📢 WE ARE HIRING | PSS Animator

Amel Association International is seeking a qualified PSS Animator to support children enrolled in the QALAM: Building Bridges to Safe, Inclusive, and Quality Education project.

📍 Location: Tyre District, South Lebanon
🕒 Schedule: Part-time — 3 days per week, approximately 15 hours, including Fridays and Saturdays
📅 Contract: Until the end of March 2027
💵 Salary: USD 480
⏳ Application deadline: Monday, 14 September 2026

The selected candidate will design and facilitate structured social-emotional learning and community-based psychosocial support activities for children in Grades 1–6. The role includes promoting resilience and emotional well-being, maintaining safe and inclusive learning spaces, identifying children who may need additional support, coordinating referrals, engaging parents and communities, and contributing to monitoring and reporting.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field
• Two to three years of relevant experience in psychosocial support, child protection, or education within humanitarian or NGO settings
• Knowledge of child development, SEL frameworks, community-based PSS, and referral mechanisms
• Strong facilitation, classroom management, documentation, and reporting skills
• Ability to work in volatile and sensitive contexts
• Fluency in Arabic and English
