📢 WE ARE HIRING | Registered Nurse – Tyre (Sour)

Amel Association International is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join its healthcare team in Tyre (Sour), South Lebanon.

Under the supervision of the Health Project Coordinator, the Registered Nurse will provide nursing care, treatment, and follow-up in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions and established hygiene and quality standards. The position may involve work at a primary healthcare center or through a mobile medical unit.

📍 Location: Tyre (Sour), South Lebanon

Main responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care and conduct patient assessments and triage
• Perform initial examinations and record patients’ medical histories
• Administer prescribed treatments and diagnostic tests
• Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment
• Communicate relevant test results to patients and their families
• Deliver vaccination services in line with the Ministry of Public Health schedule
• Ensure the proper refrigeration, storage, and handling of vaccines
• Maintain patient files, registers, statistics, consumption records, and other documentation
• Refer patients to appropriate services when needed
• Participate in health-awareness activities, training, and educational programmes
• Build positive relationships with local communities and relevant organizations
• Support the Center’s patient-centred care and quality-improvement objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Valid nursing practice licence issued by Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health
• Membership in the Order of Nurses in Lebanon
• Previous experience in a primary healthcare centre
• NGO experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English
