Improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations affected by the Syrian crisis in Lebanon

The objective of the project is to improve the living conditions of the population affected by the Syrian crisis in Lebanon, including refugees and minorities from the Middle East, while the specific objective of the project is to contribute in ensuring the access to primary health care services and education (including vocational training), for the population affected by the Syrian crisis in Lebanon.

To do so, three mobile medical units (Sour- South Lebanon, Marjayoun- South Lebanon and El-Ain-Bekaa) are covering the most vulnerable locations and Informal settlements in order to provide the population with primary health care consultations and the needed medicine for their recovery.

Moreover, the access to education is being ensured through psycho-social support to children and vocational training for youth.

Vocational training activities are conducted in Sour-South Lebanon, Bazourieh -South Lebanon and Mashghara- Bekaa. Participants are attending a cycle of 4 months structured as the following: IT and English classes in addition to life skills classes once per week. As for the vocational training, participants are offered to attend Make-up tattoo, nursing or mobile maintenance classes twice per week.
