📢 WE ARE HIRING | Head of Community Center
Amel Association International is seeking an experienced Head of Community Center for its Ain El Remmaneh Center in Beirut.
Implemented in partnership with UNHCR, the Community Development Project provides educational, psychosocial, vocational, IT, and livelihood services to refugees, asylum seekers, and other persons of concern.
The Head of Center will oversee the Center’s overall management, supervise its multidisciplinary team, ensure quality implementation of activities, manage financial and operational resources, coordinate reporting, and represent Amel with partners and stakeholders.
📍 Duty station: Ain El Remmaneh, Beirut
🕒 Contract: Full-time
📅 Employment period: One year, renewable
💵 Salary range: USD 1,200–1,500

Required qualifications
- Master’s degree in Management, Social Work, International or Humanitarian Affairs, Political Science, Community Development, or a related field
- A bachelor’s degree combined with significant relevant experience may be considered
- Three to five years of relevant professional experience in project management, community development, humanitarian assistance, or NGO programming
- Previous experience supervising a multidisciplinary team is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, budget-monitoring, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, safeguarding, inclusion, confidentiality, and non-discrimination
- Fluency in Arabic, excellent English, and basic French
