Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Officer to supervise the implementation of our Health and Protection Project targeting older people. The Field Officer will be responsible for supervising a team of medical staff, social workers, psychologists, and PSS facilitators who will be providing home-based care and psychosocial support services to older people within the community. The ideal candidate will have experience working in community-based health and protection programs and be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of medical staff, social workers, psychologists, and PSS facilitators who will be providing home-based care and psychosocial support services to older people within the community.
• Ensure that all activities are implemented in accordance with project guidelines and timelines.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality of services provided by the team and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure that all documentation and guidance related to the project are followed and maintained.
• Develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan to track the progress of the project and ensure that it is meeting its objectives.
• Identify and address any implementation challenges that arise, and make recommendations for improving project activities.
• Work with community leaders, volunteers, and other stakeholders to identify and address health and protection concerns affecting older people in the community.
• Contribute to the development of project reports and other documentation as needed.
• Attend project meetings and other events as required.
• Plan and coordinate logistical arrangements to ensure efficient use of the team’s time, including transport, accommodation, and scheduling of visits.
• Ensure that necessary supplies and equipment are available to the team at all times.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in community-based health and protection programs, preferably with a focus on older people.
• Experience supervising a team of medical staff, social workers, psychologists, and PSS facilitators.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with older people, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation and ability to develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
• Fluent in the local language(s) spoken in the project area.

Working Conditions:
The Field Officer will work primarily in the community, conducting field visits and working with community leaders and other stakeholders. The position may require some travel within the project area. The Field Officer will be required to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate the schedules of older people and other stakeholders. The position may require some physical activity, including walking and carrying supplies.
