Ever since Amel was founded, the youth volunteers group has been a major factor in Amel’s work. The volunteers put in practice Amel’s humanitarian philosophy especially when taking action in difficult times and have shown their constant support to Amel’s team in all the various field missions all over Lebanon.
More than 300 youths volunteers annually join Amel to help in protecting human dignity regardless of their affiliations, color, background or gender, because for Amel, these youths are leaders of change in our society.
This time and as you can see in the video above, the youths committee of our Haret Hreik development center took the initiative in rehabilitating the Pediatric Cancer department in the Rafik Hariri University Hospital in Jnah. They also renovated the Playroom, painted some nice graffitis on the walls and added some fun games and entertainment gadgets for the children.
And on the day of the inauguration of their work, the youths committee prepared a fun event for the children and performed a puppet show.
