Policy brief: “Older people in crisis in Lebanon: an urgent need for action”

Help Age International has conducted a research project that examines the impact of the global food, fuel, and financial crises in ten different countries, as part of its pioneering work advocating for the protection of older people around the world and unprecedented support to local actors responding to the needs and concerns of the older population.

Amel Association led the implementation of this research in Lebanon, which showed that the situation for elderly people’s living conditions is catastrophic and alarming.
