Since its creation, Amel collaborates with international organizations to demonstrate its innovative methodology and settle global co-responses to migration crisis.
In acknowledgement, the organisation has been recognised internationally, notably through:
- Consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC);
- Observer status with the International Organization for Migration (IOM);
- Membership in global networks including the CHS Alliance (CHS), the International Council for Voluntary Associations (ICVA), UN DPI/NGO section and The Geneva Global Health Hub (G2H2).
- Recognition by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) as the first and only Lebanese center of excellence for public service delivery and capacity development. This confirms the United Nation’s consideration of Amel as a key actor in alleviating hardship among marginalized communities.
