Despite the ongoing hostilities that have damaged three of Amel’s centers in South Lebanon, our team’s commitment to protecting the right to health for all remains unwavering. Supported by the SAQIRH project, our Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) continue to serve affected populations across South Lebanon, operating within municipalities and in collective shelters, providing health services to those affected by the ongoing clashes. These units are a lifeline, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Last week, our photographer joined the team as they were providing consultations to the right holders inside the Municipality of Selaa village.
The SAQIRH project, supported by AFD – Agence Française de Développement , is jointly implemented by the consortium of Première Urgence Internationale Lebanon as the lead, Médecins du Monde France , and Amel Association International. This project provides increased access to quality healthcare for vulnerable communities, regardless of background.
