She Leads is a gender-transformative project implemented in South Lebanon, aiming at including girls and young women in gender-responsive laws & policies as well as societal norms & practices through mentorship program and peer-to-peer mentorship, parents awareness sessions, youth-led, the project reached 2137 persons in 2022.
On the occasion of #16daysofactivism, Amel Association International, in partnership with Plan International Lebanon within the “She Leads” project, hosted a fruitful dialogue in Saida region. Activists and local stakeholders brainstormed strategies for active youth involvement in politics. 🗣️ Recommendations to boost women’s political engagement and combat exclusion were crafted and will soon be on Amel’s website. 📢 Real change begins with active inclusion and listening to the voices of youth and women.
