In Tyre, girls and young women are taking a stand against gender-based violence with the ‘A Raised Hand is Rejected’ advocacy initiative. They are working to ensure women can safely and accessibly report GBV incidents. Watch their advocacy efforts in this video.
This initiative falls under the She Leads project, implemented by Plan International Lebanon in partnership with Amel Association, which aims to empower and equip girls and young women to speak up for their rights and lead change in their communities and beyond.
