Through the ‘Break the Silence’ Advocacy initiative, GYW have led crucial GBV awareness sessions at Hasbaya Future School and the Official Vocational Institute of Hasbaya. These sessions have educated students and teachers on GBV concepts and reporting mechanisms. Additionally, through successful advocacy, GBV focal persons have been established in schools to provide students with trusted support.
This initiative falls under the She Leads project that is implemented by Plan International Lebanon in partnership with Amel Association, which aims to empower and equip girls and young women to speak up for their rights and lead change in their communities and beyond.
