Amel Association International is currently seeking a dedicated Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Case Worker to join its team in Beirut and Mount Lebanon (BML). This is a full-time, one-year position offering an opportunity to play a vital role in the protection and empowerment of women, adolescent girls, and LGBTIQ+ individuals affected by gender-based violence.
The GBV Case Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services, psychosocial support, and effective referrals in line with international standards and best practices. Working under the supervision of Amel’s Field Coordinator and Program Coordinator, the selected candidate will also contribute to service mapping, inter-agency coordination, and community outreach, ensuring a survivor-centered approach.
Main Responsibilities Include:

Delivering individualized GBV case management and psychosocial support.

Developing and implementing recovery action plans and referrals.

Monitoring and following up on cases, ensuring confidentiality and timely reporting.

Collaborating with other service providers and Amel staff to ensure a holistic response.

Participating in training, evaluations, and internal coordination meetings.
Candidate Profile:

A degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Psychology, or related fields.

A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in GBV programming within humanitarian settings.

Strong understanding of GBV case management principles and international GBV response standards.

Fluent in Arabic and English.
